True spiritual leadership development is lacking in many parts of the world. A top prayer request from spiritual leaders from a great many countries WILD serves is for their people to be developed in spiritual leadership. When a WILD training happens, many will travel for hours and endure adverse conditions in order to be trained in solid spiritual leadership material so that they can grow in their abilities to serve the Lord more effectively.
Praise the Lord for their perseverance!
1Thessalonians 2:7-9
7 Instead, we were like young children[a] among you.
Just as a nursing mother cares for her children, 8 so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well. 9 Surely you remember, brothers and sisters, our toil and hardship; we worked night and day in order not to be a burden to anyone while we preached the gospel of God to you.
