Why Support WILD?

"The greatest crisis in the world today is the crisis of leadership, & the greatest crisis of leadership is a crisis of character."   ~Howard Hendricks

  • WILD addresses these issues: By using our 5 core principles- Encourage, Equip, Empower, Engage, Expand- WILD develops leaders by providing spiritual leadership education to men and women around the globe from ages 15 on up through one-on-one discipling, small, and large group trainings. A number of these leaders are then taught how to develop others into the leaders they were created to be, thus multiplying the development of quality Christian leaders and addressing the crisis of leadership and character world-wide!

  • We all have influence: Spiritual leadership is not limited to those who have positions in the church. As a follower of Christ, whether a youth, a homemaker, an employer, an employee, a civic or government leader, or a church leader, we all have influence on another. WILD poses the question, "Are we using it to impact others for Christ or for selfish gain?"
  • Lives are being transformed by the Gospel: Through the study of various Biblical characters and leadership principles, our members are taught what God desires in a leader and how to live that out through a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • It is not a "one size fits all approach": We are a Biblically based international and interdenominational non-profit organization. Our materials are simple, culturally transferable, and contextualized to various settings and cultures.

Testimonials

Delali, WILD Togo Trainee

"Since I have started this journey with WILD in discipleship training, studying the Word of the Lord and teaching disciples, my faith in the Lord is growing more and more. I'm understanding God's vision for us and it's just marvelous. May the Lord bless us and the WILD Team so we can continue on this journey 'til we reach our destination, heaven. Amen"

Jessica, WILD Kenya Trainee

"As a leader, I have learned that I should live a sacrificial life; my character being beyond reproach. I should set a good example to others- character that they can imitate. Just like the saying, charity begins at home, the same way leadership begins at home, at the family level. This means the best feedback I can get in my leadership is from home. The character that I will practice most is hospitality and being gentle to my group."

"How wonderful it is when you are chosen by the CREATOR to lead! My heart is full of joy and I cannot delay being part of the inspiring and soul-touching lesson any longer. I am especially joyful when God tells Joshua, "Be courageous and have no fear." It just tells me that when God chooses you, He creates every opportunity for His work to be done. May God Almighty continue to bless WILD."
