Transformation

This is the rest of the testimony from Joseph, an attendee to a recent Youth Camp in Kabwe Zambia

“I am grateful for the opportunity to share what I have learned from the Wise Intentional Leadership Development training and how it has impacted my life and walk with Christ.

This training has greatly influenced the way I think, act, and see leadership. Before the training, I understood leadership mainly as being in charge or giving instructions to others. However, I have now learned that true leadership is about serving others with humility, wisdom, and love. It is about being intentional in everything I do and making decisions that honor God. This has helped me realize that leadership begins with personal character and a strong relationship with Christ.

One of the most important lessons I have learned is the need to depend on God in all areas of life. The training has reminded me that I cannot lead effectively on my own strength. I need God’s guidance, wisdom, and direction. As a result, my prayer life has become more meaningful, and I am more conscious of seeking God before making decisions. This has also helped me grow spiritually and strengthened my walk with Christ.

In addition, the training has helped me improve my character and attitude towards others. I have learned the importance of being patient, respectful, and responsible. I now understand that a leader must set a good example for others to follow. Because of this, I am trying to live a life that reflects Christ in my words and actions, both in public and in private.

As a result of this training, I have also set personal goals for my life. Firstly, I want to become a more disciplined and responsible person in everything I do, including my studies, work, and relationships. Secondly, I aim to grow in wisdom so that I can make better decisions that are guided by God’s Word. Thirdly, I want to develop a servant heart, where I put the needs of others before my own and help those around me in love and humility.

Furthermore, I desire to strengthen my Christian faith by being consistent in prayer, reading the Bible, and participating in church activities. I also want to become a positive influence to others, encouraging them to live according to God’s will. My long-term goal is to become a leader who not only leads with confidence but also with integrity and a deep love for God and people.

In conclusion, this training has transformed the way I understand leadership and has challenged me to grow both spiritually and personally. I am committed to applying what I have learned in my daily life so that I can become a wise, intentional, and Christ-centered leader.

Just think how different the world would be if more youth were influenced this way! Please continue to pray for financial provision to provide more trainings.
